Set up your Clev account
Three steps to get access, activate your Pro plan, and connect Clev to Revit.
Get started
Complete the three steps below. The first two take a minute; the third walks you through installing and connecting the Revit plugin.
Log in to the platform
Use the dedicated email address you were given to access Clev.

Connect Revit
Install the plugin and link it to your Clev account. Full guide below.
Jump to configuration guideConfiguration guide
Follow these sections in order to install the Revit plugin, launch it, and connect it to Clev Automations.
Install the Revit plugin
Download the plugin package that matches your Revit version and run the installer.
- Make sure Revit is fully closed before you start.
- Open the Clev Connectors GitHub repository, click Code → Download ZIP. It contains the plugin for every Revit version.
- Unzip the download, open the folder matching your version (e.g. Clev_2026_v2), and double-click Setup_ClevPlugin.
- Confirm each prompt in order: Install → Allow → Yes → Proceed.
- Wait for the cursor to finish loading, then open Revit.
The installer is unsigned, so Windows may flag it as an unverified publisher — this is expected. See the Data Protection Policy (linked in your onboarding email) for details on how the plugin handles data.
First launch and connection to Revit
Once your Pro profile is active, you'll get an email from us confirming it — from there, you can carry on with the steps below.
- When Revit opens, new authorization windows may appear — confirm all of them.
- A new Clev tab appears in the Revit ribbon.
- Open the Clev tab and click the plugin icon to start the WebSocket connection.
- Back in Revit, close the final confirmation window ("WebSocket server started").
Connect Clev Automations
Link a Clev project to the live Revit session so automations can run.
- In Clev, create a project and open the Automations section.
- Click the Disconnected button in the top right. It turns green once the connection is active.
- The interface always shows which project your commands are currently running on.
Clev and Revit are now correctly connected.
